While Washington owner Daniel Snyder is optimistic about his team's chances this season, he's not happy that Albert Haynesworth has been absent and is among many in the Redskin organization that wishes Haynesworth would show up and be part of minicamps and team activities.
"I'm disappointed he's not here. Absolutely," Snyder said. "We're expecting our players to lead by example, and we're expecting our players to understand that they're Redskins and they need to be here."
The Danny has every right to be disappointed in Haynesworth. He spent a fortune to sign Haynesworth as a free agent last year, and Haynesworth didn't deliver. Big Al isn't happy that the Redskins are converting to a 3-4 defense, but he needs to take a lesson in how to conduct himself from teammate Andre Carter. Carter has faired much better in his career in 4-3 defenses, but as opposed to Haynesworth, Carter is working hard and trying to make a good impression on new Washington coach Mike Shanahan. Fantasy owners don't need to go out of their way to target the Redskins defense on draft day.
