The right foot injury starting receiver Preston Williams suffered in the Miami Dolphins' 34-31 win over the Arizona Cardinals wasn’t as serious as it looked after the second-year player was carted off the field.

A day after the injury coach Brian Flores said Williams is considered to be day-to-day.

While Flores acknowledged it’s too early to determine if Williams will be able to practice this week, or healthy enough to play in this Sunday’s home game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the injury doesn’t appear to be serious enough to end the receiver’s season, the story said. Parker caught six of the seven passes thrown his way, turning them into 64 receiving yards. Hollins, who caught an 11-yard touchdown on his first and only catch of the season, Grant and Perry handled the bulk of the receiver reps the rest of the game.

The Bills had one of their most wide-open snap shares among tight ends against Seattle. In most games, they’ve had one top tight end available who gets the majority of snaps. In Dawson Knox’s first game back Sunday from a calf injury and the Reserve/COVID-19 list, he finished slightly behind Tyler Kroft in snaps. Knox’s 24 reps were six shy of Kroft’s 30, but the more intriguing development was the uptick in usage for undrafted rookie Reggie Gilliam. Against Seattle, Gilliam had 13 snaps, his highest share of the season.

The story added some of Gilliam's snaps came on goal-line plays, but the Bills worked Gilliam into offensive formations more. Outside of Kroft’s touchdown, the position overall was a non-factor in the passing game. Kroft’s 1-yard touchdown catch was the only attempt to a tight end the whole game. Were the Bills searching for answers at a position that’s been a big disappointment this season? The snap counts will be something to track next week against Arizona, the story went on to say.

Bills TE Dawson Knox is questionable to play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, according to the team's official injury report. Knox was recently removed from the reserve-COVID list as well.

Tight end has been a wasteland for the Bills, making Knox a TE3 this week.

The Cowboys plan to give Garrett Gilbert and Cooper Rush reps in practice and pick one of them at week’s end to start at QB against the Steelers.

The big news is it won’t be rookie DiNucci, who struggled Sunday night against the Eagles. As Pelissero added, the Cowboys are playing to experience at the position. We'll continue to monitor heading into Week 9, but it's probably safe to assume much of the same no matter who is named the starter, if not mostly because of the tough matchup against the Steelers. It continues to be a big downgrade for players like Elliott, Cooper and Gallup.
