Thielen broke out in his third season with 69 catches for 967 yards and five touchdowns. He scored more fantasy points than Stefon Diggs, yet he's going seven rounds later in early MFL10s. In fairness, Diggs missed three games, but these two are closer in value than their ADPs would indicate.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen took a hit on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts that forced him to leave the game. He was in concussion protocol then later announced as having a neck injury.

Thielen said Tuesday that he does not have lasting effects from the shot and he will practice and expects to be back in the lineup against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.

Thielen has worked his way up to being the Vikings’ No. 2 receiver behind Stefon Diggs, grabbing 56 catches for 758 yards.

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen took a huge shot over the middle from Darius Butler in the third quarter. The hit drew a 15-yard penalty, and Thielen was slow to get up. The WR went to the locker room and was eventually ruled out with a neck injury.

It wasn't a good day for the Vikings, and Thielen didn't record a catch in the loss to the Colts. His status for next week is now a question mark.

With Diggs out, Adam Thielen and Cordarrelle Patterson become startable. Thielen is especially appealing, since he's already playing starter's snaps and racked up 7-127-1 on eight targets with Diggs out in Week 5. Thielen has found the endzone in two straight games and has cleared 50 yards and/or scored a touchdown in five of his last six games. Patterson has become more involved in the offense since Week 4, posting WR4/WR5 numbers in that span. He has averaged 6.0 targets per game in the last seven games, and that was with Diggs in the lineup for six of those games. There are some rumblings that the team may use Patterson as a runner to kickstart an anemic running game. Laquon Treadwell will draw the start in Diggs' place, but it's hard to get excited about a player who has one catch through 10 games. TE Kyle Rudolph also gets a small bump since there are a few extra targets to go around.
