Lions RB D'Andre Swift is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, according to the team's official injury report.

Fantasy Impact:

It was reported earlier Friday that even if Swift plays, he will have a small package of plays on Sunday. Kerryon Johnson and Adrian Peterson appear to be the thunder and lightning dup for the Lions against the Bears.

Lions interim head coach Darrell Bevell told reporters Friday that RB D'Andre Swift would not practice Friday due to a non-COVID related illness.

Fantasy Impact:

This is the second straight day that Swift is missing practice with this illness. He is out of concussion protocol according to Twentyman, so this may be the final hurdle to his return.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (illness) missed practice Thursday after taking limited reps Wednesday. Swift has made it through the league's concussion protocol but Adrian Peterson said that the rookie hasn't been himself since the concussion. We should know more on Friday, but for now we've removed Swift from the rankings. If he does play, he will be ranked somewhere in the 10-20 range.

According to Ian Rapoport on Twitter, Detroit Lions rookie running back D'Andre Swift has been cleared from the league's concussion protocol.

Fantasy Impact:

There was some confusion earlier today when interim head coach Darrell Bevell stated that Swift was still in the league's protocol despite practicing for over a week, but it appears that he has now been officially cleared. It seems that Swift was in the latter stages of the protocol but was slow to get past the final hurdle to being cleared. Swift should be cleared to play Bears on Sunday. He is reportedly dealing with an illness but has been removed from the team's injury report.

According to head coach Darrell Bevell, Detroit Lions rookie running back D'Andre Swift is still working his way through the league's concussion protocol.

Fantasy Impact:

It appears that the Lions cleared Swift to participate in limited practices despite still being in the league's concussion protocol. Players have been known to take to the practice field when in the later stages of the protocol, but the fact that he practiced over a week ago and still has not been cleared is a concerning look for the Lions. Swift is our 10th ranked running back for Week 13, but will obviously need to be cleared to play. We should have a better indication of his Week 13 status following tomorrow's final injury report.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (concussion) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Interim HC Darrell Bevell is optimistic about Swift's chances of returning this week. If he's able to play, he'll be a high-end RB2 against a tough Bears defense.

Matt Rhule says X-rays on DJ Moore's ankle were negative.

Fantasy Impact:

The tweet said Rhule is not sure about severity of the ankle injury, but Moore has not been ruled out of Dec. 13 game vs. Broncos. The Panthers have a bye in Week 13 so we likely won't hear too much more until after their bye week.

Rams TE Tyler Higbee (elbow, questionable) missed practice all week and is questionable for Week 12. Higbee did not practice this week and the Rams only held a walkthrough on Friday. HC Sean McVay said that Higbee would be a game-time decision. Gerald Everett would be a great streaming option if Higbee is ruled out. Complicating matters, the Rams play late on Sunday.
