Vikings running back Dalvin Cook left Sunday night’s game with a groin injury, and right now the team doesn’t know how long he’ll be out.

Cook will have an MRI today and it’s unclear whether he’ll play Sunday’s home game against the Falcons, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said. Cook did play one more snap after leaving with the injury. Mattison came in and had 20 carries for 112 yards. Mattison is likely to get plenty of work again this week if Cook can’t go so hopefully Cook owners have Mattison tucked away on their bench. Mattison will be a major target on the wire this week. Boone could also see some time if Cook is out.

According to John Shipley of Sports Illustrated, Tyler Eifert has shown strong chemistry with quarterback Gardner Minshew.

With sophomore tight end Josh Oliver lost for the season, and no one else on the roster capable of pushing him for snaps, Tyler Eifert could have a much stronger season than many have projected. The offense has not had a reliable tight end since the days of Mercedes Lewis, but Minshew’s rhythm passer skill set suggests that Eifert could thrive as a safety valve and downfield target. Eifert has wowed with a number of downfield hookups from Minshew, and will look to carry the chemistry over to game days. Eifert could make for an extremely interesting low cost, deep league TE2 flier. Eifert is currently ranked as our 31st tight end for the season.

This speaks to the Patriots' talent at WR but also his development, Gunner Olszewski has looked like the second best WR in camp behind Julian Edelman, though N'Keal Harry made a push today.

Kyed mentioned again that Harry had a big day on Monday, but up to this point Olszewski had been most impressive behind Edelman. Olszewski doesn't make our WR list while guys like Meyers and Sanu remain behind Edelman and Harry. With three weeks to go before the start of the season, keep an eye on Olszewski.

The Jaguars have activated QB Gardner Minshew II and S Andrew Wingard from our Reserve/COVID-19 list and have moved CB D.J. Hayden off the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list.

Minshew is now on the active roster. We rank Minshew 25th on our QB list but feel he offers good value at that spot. He averaged 16.6 fantasy points per game last year, which would have ranked 15th among QBs.

Jags have placed RB Ryquell Armstead, TE Charles Jones, QB Gardner Minshew II, WR Michael Walker and S Andrew Wingard on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

With Nick Foles out of the picture, Minshew is slated to start for the Jags this season after an impressive rookie season in 2019. Being on the list means he tested positive or was in contact with someone who did.

RB Chris Thompson is signing a one-year deal with the Jaguars, per source. Good pass-catching option out of the backfield for Gardner Minshew.

Chris Thompson joins Jay Gruden in Jacksonville for the 2020 season, He averaged 3.4 receptions per game over the last five seasons under Gruden, and should step into third-down duties for the Jags. Thompson is a nice, later-round option in PPR formats.
