If D'Andre Swift proves he can be consistent, Campbell and offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn will use him like Sean Payton uses Alvin Kamara in New Orleans. All the way. He’s not there yet, though.

Swift turned 21 touches into 144 yards and a TD the story said. For those in dynasty leagues, Swift is among the top-three backs to have going forward and he really seems to be taking a step forward this year.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Jones is expected to miss three or four weeks while he recovers from the injury.

The story said that timeframe suggests a stop on the injured reserve is in his future and his roster spot could go to one of the backs that the Saints worked out on Tuesday. Washington likely moves up to the RB2 spot behind Kamara while any newly signed back should get the RB3 role.

Sean Payton said Alvin Kamara’s lack of targets was due to his role changing with Tony Jones Jr.’s injury.

Payton said it was also due to the way the Giants were covering him. Kamara was the primary on a few plays but the progression forced the ball elsewhere, according to the tweet. Kamara was targeted one time in Week 4, he has just 10 catches through four weeks for 66 yards, but does have two TDs. In Week 4, Kamara carried 26 times for 120 yards but it was Hill who added two rushing touchdowns.

New Orleans Saints backup running back Tony Jones Jr. appeared to a suffer a significant injury before being carted off the field during Sunday's game against the New York Giants at the Caesars Superdome.

There hasn't been much of an update on Jones. Jones was tended to quickly by medical staff before a cart was called to take him back to the locker room. Early in the second half, Jones was considered questionable to return with an ankle injury, according to the story. Jones is the handcuff to Kamara so owners of both backs will want to monitor this going forward. It could mean a bigger role for Kamara with Washington serving as the team's RB2.

Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) will miss Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Without MVS, Amari Rodgers and Randall Cobb should see more work alongside Allen Lazard and Davante Adams.

Lions HC Dan Campbell told reporters to expect more RB D'Andre Swift going forward, saying the team was cautious because of injury.

Swift has played well with the snaps he has been given and has been utilized as a runner and pass catcher. Swift is the #6 RB in 4for4's half-point PPR rankings for Week 4.

Raiders coach Jon Gruden told reporters QB Derek Carr (ankle) is questionable and RB Josh Jacobs is "very questionable" for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Jacobs is dealing with a toe injury and didn't go in Week 2. Barber stole 12 carries but only produced 32 yards. Drake made his money in the passing game hauling in five catches for 46 yards. With Marcus Mariota on IR, Peterman would be next up if Carr can't go.
