Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said he does not expect QB Jalen Hurts to play Saturday vs. the Cowboys.

This is a bummer not just because of it's obvious awful fantasy implications, but also for Hurts' MVP bid. His health is clearly more important than any of those things, so it will be Gardner Minshew for Week 16. Minshew has only attempted four passes this year but went 19-of-33 in last year's Week 18 battle against the Cowboys, with a 186-2-1 stat line.

Kenny Pickett has to "check a box procedurally" but if there was practice he would be a full participant. Says Pickett will start on Saturday.

The Steelers will get more time to see what Pickett can do this season, but has already suffered two concussions this year, the other coming back in October. Pickett had been solid before his second concussion, and hasn't thrown and INT since Week 8 but only has two passing TDs over his last four, full games. He's also added a rushing TD in that span. At the very least, Pickett has turned into a game manager for the Steelers and fantasy owners.

The Eagles activated TE Dallas Goedert to the 53-man roster.

He will be a welcome addition to the offense, especially with uncertainty around QB Jalen Hurts - who is battling a shoulder injury of his own and may miss a key, divisional matchup. No matter who gets the start at QB, Hurts or Gardner Minshew, it looks like they will at least have their full arsenal of weapons with the return of Goedert.

Hurts hasn't been ruled out yet, although as the story pointed out, there have already been huge swings in the betting line for the game. Hurts was able to finish last week's game and actually played very well in the second half to help lead the Eagles to the win. Minshew would get the start if Hurts is ruled out.

Steelers are listing QB Kenny Pickett as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers, and the team plans to announce its starting QB Saturday.

This sets up for another Mitch Trubisky start, but it's not one that moves the needle for fantasy. After Week 14's performance, Trubisky now has more interceptions (five) than touchdowns (four) and his legs aren't something to count on anymore either, as he has accrued 29 yards on his 13 attempts in 2022.

Dallas Goedert is eligible to have his practice window open today after a 4-week stint on IR following a shoulder injury.

The Eagles offense continued to click without Goedert in the lineup, but it could be that much better upon his return. McLane added in his tweet that expectations are Goedert will return to the active roster for Sunday’s game at the Bears, and if not almost certainly Christmas Eve at the Cowboys.

Mike Tomlin said if QB Kenny Pickett (concussion protocol) is "able to work, we'll work him. If not, we'll get Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph ready." He said when dealing with concussion protocol, you take it day-to-day.

Don't expect the Steelers to rush back Pickett to the field as he's dealing with his second concussion this season. Trubisky would likely draw the start if Pickett can't go. The Steelers are at the Panthers in Week 15.
