Two Bronco TEs in concussion protocol

Tight end Virgil Green was diagnosed with a concussion after he sustained a hit to the head in the first quarter. He and tight end A.J. Derby are both in concussion protocol. Neither player was at the facility on Monday.

“I don’t know what point in the game [Derby suffered the concussion],” Kubiak said. “I just know after the game, came in, talked to ‘Greek’ [Head Athletic Trainer Steve Antonopulos], talked to the doctors [and] they evaluated him.”

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
