When asked who will start at QB for the Bears when Jay Cutler returns, HC John fox replied "I am not going to get into speculation. Jay is not healthy.”
There is currently no timetable for Jay Cutler's return and reports earlier in the week suggested that Cutler had "fallen out of favor" with the coaching staff.
All signs seem to point to Brian Hoyer maintaining his role as the Bears starting QB, regardless of Cutler's health. Hoyer has thrown for at least 300 yards in all three of his starts and only two QBs have accrued more fantasy points since Week 3. If you were lucky enough to snag Hoyer off of waivers, hold on to him as he has every week plug-and-play potential in this offense.
