Eagles sign WR Markus Wheaton

The Philadelphia Eagles added WR Markus Wheaton today on a one-year deal.

Fantasy Impact:

After spending the first four seasons of his career in Pittsburgh, Wheaton took a one-year sabbatical from The Keystone Stone and played for Chicago last season. This seems like nothing more than a depth chart signing, so we aren't all that eager in considering Wheaton a fantasy option this season.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
