Lions send WR Marvin Jones (knee) to IR

Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones is being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, head coach Matt Patricia announced Monday.

Related players: Kenny Golladay, Bruce Ellington, T.J. Jones, Andy Jones, Theo Riddick

Fantasy Impact:

Jones suffered the injury to his right knee against Chicago on Nov. 11 and then went to get a second opinion less than a week later, a source told ESPN. The injury was first reported as a bruise and the ACL and MCL were intact. The Lions didn't give any more information about the injury.

The story added Ellington and T.J. Jones have split time on the outside opposite of Golladay. Riddick has seen time in the slot as well. Golladay should continue to get a ton of targets and over the last three weeks had totaled 35 with 19 catches and two TDs in that span.
