– The passing offense continued to look strong, as there were few dropped balls. Randy Moss, Julian Edelman, and Torry Holt continued seeing a ton of passes. As talented as Brandon Tate is, he’s obviously still learning. But he is fast. The O soundly lit up the D during team work.
– Wes Welker ran routes at a faster clip than he did previously, going at what I’d call 75 percent. He was cutting sharper and running the routes deep, before he headed into the field house.
– At kick returner, it looks like Tate, Edelman, and Devin McCourty will all have a crack at earning the job. Kevin Faulk was back there, too.
