Sunday Night DFS Single-Game Breakdown: Cowboys at Saints
The Primetime games have been a bit better of late (if we can ignore that Jacksonville-Tennessee game) and the Sunday Night game looks to be no different as the Dallas Cowboys go on the road to take on the Drew Brees-less New Orleans Saints. There are plenty of ways to attack this game so let's break it down and see how we can help you find the winning edge to get you to the top of the tournament leaderboards.
Injuries
- Michael Gallup, DAL, WR - OUT
- TreQuan Smith, NO, WR - OUT
- Drew Brees, NO, QB - OUT
None of these injuries are new so projections and expectations have already been factored in.
Evaluation of Vegas Spread and Total
Dallas -2.5 Over/Under 47
If Drew Brees was playing this game not only would the total be higher, but the Saints would also be slight favorites. As it is, Teddy Bridgewater as the starter has Vegas installing the Cowboys as modest road favorites with an over/under that is probably a little too low (I'll go bet the over while I'm thinking about it). Like I did with the Eagles-Packers game, I'm going to include a breakdown based on the Vegas odds and on what I think is more likely. Take that for what it's worth—a hack like me disagreeing with Vegas. That's usually not good.
