A week after returning to the team that drafted him and then traded him to a division rival, the Miami Dolphins put Isaiah Ford back on their active roster Tuesday.
Ford, who Miami traded to the Patriots in October for a 2022 sixth-round draft pick, was re-signed last week after New England waived him. The Dolphins called him up for Sunday’s 22-12 win over the Patriots. In that game Ford played 53 of Miami’s 72 offensive snaps, and caught three passes for 18 yards in a game that featured the Dolphins playing without pass catchers DeVante Parker, Mike Gesicki and Jakeem Grant, the story said. With the Dolphins still very much banged up at the WR position, Ford could have a role this week against the Raiders as they look to make a playoff push. But he's obviously a risky play in fantasy leagues.
