Ravens writer believes James Proche should get 'significant opportunities"
The Athletic's Ravens beat writer Jeff Zrebiec believes WR James Proche should see "significant opportunities" this season.
"If he’s healthy, there is no reason why he won’t get significant opportunities this year, as he’s emerged as a leader of a young and unproven receiving group that believes it’s ready to make an impact," said Zrebiec. The Ravens certainly need someone to step up after trading Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals and Proche has had a strong camp thus far. Proche was also stuck behind Sammy Watkins and Rashod Bateman. While Bateman is still around, Watkins is now in Green Bay, opening up targets and chances for Proche, who was a nice receiver at SMU.
Proche is going very late, if at all, in Underdog drafts. But Lamar Jackson will need players to throw to and if Baltimore is going to give Proche opportunities, he's worth considering as a flyer late.
