Daigle's Top NFL DFS Picks: Week 2
I begin my research for DFS tournaments every week by sifting through what our opponents are doing and engineering lineups backward from there.
These top plays, though viable for cash games (which will be noted throughout), are suggested specifically for tournaments and are weighted for ceiling projection, matchup, ownership, and value. I will include any thoughts on game theory within my reasoning for each player.
They are listed in order of descending price, not by my personal rankings.

Quarterbacks
Russell Wilson, Broncos ($7,200 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel)
From a game-theory stance, Wilson is naturally a contrarian play since we know our opponents are either spending slightly more for Kyler Murray and Lamar Jackson or spending down for Derek Carr and Trey Lance. Wilson however arguably has a higher ceiling than all after the Broncos moved the ball with ease in his debut, averaging 6.3 yards per play and reaching the red zone on half of their possessions despite falling short on the scoreboard. Houston’s 352 yards allowed to Matt Ryan in Week 1 are just a preview of how Wilson should fare.
