Colts to go with Nick Foles at QB

The Colts will start quarterback Nick Foles against the Chargers on Monday Night Football, head coach Jeff Saturday announced on Wednesday.

The decision to bench Ryan comes after Indianapolis blew a 33-0 lead against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, a record-setting loss. Foles will be the third QB to start for Indy this season. Foles saw action in the preseason this year but last threw a pass in a game in Week 16 of 2021 with the Bears.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
