The Eagles swapped backup running backs with the Cleveland Browns, exchanging Mike Bell for Jerome Harrison. Bell really wasn’t a very good fit for the Eagles’ offense, being strictly a between-the-tackles runner. He wasn’t much of a pass-catcher. The 5-9, 208-pound Harrison is a better fit. He’s got speed to run outside. He is a decent receiver. But he’s coming from a totally different offensive system, which means he probably won’t be able to help the Eagles right away.
