Though things did not look good earlier on Tuesday, it appears Giants rookie running back Tyrone Tracy has avoided a major injury.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, New York believes Tracy has suffered a sprain.

Tracy went down with a non-contact injury during Tuesday’s session and his right leg was immediately placed in an air cast. He was then carted off the field, the story went on to say. It's hard to believe Tracy won't miss at least some time, which could put his potential RB2 job in jeopardy. Gray and Miller aren't necessarily household names, so Tracy could still eventually slide back into the RB2 role at some point. Even though Singletary seems poised for a big workload, the Giants RB2 job should hold fantasy value, even if just handcuff.
