The Jaguars said TE Evan Engram is week to week with a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Normally week to week can possibly indicate some missed time ahead, but HC Doug Pederson said he's optimistic Engram could play in Week 3. Unfortunately for owners, the Jags are one of two Monday night games in Week 3, so owners will likely need a backup plan and to monitor Engram's status this week. Strange was targeted six times in the loss and caught three passes for 65 yards. Based on that, he could make for a decent replacement option if owners are in a pinch.

Browns plan to sign free agent running back Royce Freeman to the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman did pretty well when he saw action with the Rams toward the end of last season. He was with Dallas this summer where he drew some hype, and for about a week the team had us convinced he may see significant action for the Cowboys. However, he was eventually released.

Packers are placing rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Lloyd dealt with a hamstring injury leading up to the season and has now injured his ankle enough to be placed on IR, and he'll miss the next four games. The team did sign Brooks from their practice squad but Wilson looks to be the backup to Jacobs.
