Herbert has been on the injury report a couple of times as we head into the third game of the season, yet has taken all 51 dropbacks for the 2-0 Chargers. Their offense has been very efficient, though most of that has come through the run game, rendering Herbert un-startable in fantasy.

Browns plan to sign free agent running back Royce Freeman to the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman did pretty well when he saw action with the Rams toward the end of last season. He was with Dallas this summer where he drew some hype, and for about a week the team had us convinced he may see significant action for the Cowboys. However, he was eventually released.

Packers are placing rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Lloyd dealt with a hamstring injury leading up to the season and has now injured his ankle enough to be placed on IR, and he'll miss the next four games. The team did sign Brooks from their practice squad but Wilson looks to be the backup to Jacobs.
