Raiders WR Davante Adams (hamstring) is not expected to play this week vs. Steelers, per sources.
Related Players: Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, Brock Bowers
No surprise here, but at least we get the news early in the week. Meyers and Bowers look to benefit the most from Adams' absence (and eventual trade) and should be considered respective WR2 and TE1s.
The Texans have placed WR Nico Collins, the NFL's leading receiver on Injured Reserve. He's out four games.
Related Players: Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell, Xavier Hutchinson, Dalton Schultz
Hutchinson came in and basically played Collins' role for the rest of Week 5, but he is obviously not going to demand the same type of target share. He can be added in deeper leagues, but we expect Diggs, Dell, and Schultz to take a majority of the extra usage.
Sources: Saints QB Derek Carr is expected to miss multiple games with an oblique injury he suffered against the Chiefs.
Related players: Jake Haener, Spencer Rattler
Garafolo went on to point out New Orleans has two games in the next nine days, and the likelihood is Carr misses Sunday vs. the Buccaneers and Thursday vs. the Broncos. Garafolo, in a different post, said rookie fifth-rounder Rattler is a strong candidate to get the start in Carr’s absence. Haener was the backup and came on after Carr was injured, but it looks like Rattler could get his chance.
