The Detroit Lions have signed two veterans: wide receiver Dane Looker and guard Terrance Metcalf.
ooker, an eight-year veteran, played the last seven years in St. Louis. He played 13 games last year, starting six of them, and caught 23 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns. Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan used to be the Rams' head coach.
Metcalf played the past seven years in Chicago. He played six games last year, with no starts.
The Lions cut wide receiver Bobby Sippio and offensive tackle Kirk Barton.
