Troy Williamson taking advantage of extra practice reps

With No. 2 receiver Mike Walker out of the lineup with a sprained ankle, fifth-year receiver Troy Williamson seems to be taking advantage of the extra practice reps.

Del Rio pointed out Williamson as one of the club's most surprising players, not just against Miami, but for the entire training camp.

"I told you one of the bright spots coming out of the game Monday night - and it's no different looking at the tape - is Troy and Nate [Hughes] and their ability to separate and catch the ball. Troy's done a nice job, had a nice camp," Del Rio said.

"He's got speed, and I don't think anybody questions that. He can run when his body is in shape like it is right now, then he can work on the other finer points of playing receiver and get some of that polish you need to really be good."
