Darrelle Revis expected to shadow Antonio Brown

Steelers WR Mike Wallace expects Darrelle Revis to cover Antonio Brown and for Antonio Cromartie to stay with him, as he did in their two 2010 games. Wallace caught seven passes for 102 yards against the Jets Dec. 19, 2010, and Cromartie intercepted one pass in that Jets victory. Wallace caught one pass for 6 yards a few weeks later against the Jets in the AFC title game, which the Steelers won.

"Most of the time, I got Cromartie because of the matchup of our skill sets," Wallace said of those games. "AB is a shorter, quicker guy and Revis is a shorter, quicker guy. I think our first year [Sanders] might have had Revis. Mostly, by me being long-strided, as Cromartie, I think he matches up better with me."

Fantasy Impact:

This is not particularly good news for Brown, who played very limited snaps in the two games against the Jets in 2010. The Steelers' WR2 that year was Hines Ward. He caught two passes for 34 yards in Week 15 and followed that up with two catches for 14 yards in the playoffs. If Cromartie is on Wallace and Revis is on Brown, then Emmanuel Sanders might surprise as the Steelers' WR3. He caught 7 passes for 78 yards in Week 15 of 2010, but just caught one pass for 20 yards in the second matchup.
