Giants HC Coughlin is hopeful RT Kareem McKenzie (knee) and LG Rich Seubert (shoulder), who left Sunday’s game early, will be back to practice Wednesday. McKenzie sprained his knee against the Bucs, while Seubert’s shoulder is a nagging issue that he’ll continue to strengthen.

LB Chase Blackburn sustained a high ankle sprain against the Bucs. He left the game for X-rays, then came back in, and said he expects to play this week against Kansas City.

That’s optimistic, because high ankle sprains can often keep players out for several weeks, but Coughlin said Blackburn thinks the swelling can be controlled.

DE Justin Tuck (shoulder), who surprised even himself by playing Sunday, came out of the game okay after playing eight third-down snaps.

CBs Aaron Ross and Kevin Dockery, who have sat out the first three games with hamstring injuries, should be eased back into individual drills this week.

“We’re going to spoonfeed it back,” Coughlin said. “It’s time.”
