Jaguars receiver Ace Sanders has hit the rookie wall … and gone over it.

Sanders put together his third consecutive solid performance in Sunday’s 32-28 win over the Cleveland Browns. The fourth-round pick caught eight passes for a season-high 67 yards.

Sanders had contributed 61 receiving yards in each of the last two games prior to Sunday. His emergence came after a four-game stretch in which he caught two passes for 20 yards combined.

“As fast as we can, we have to learn our players and their strengths,” Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said. “Sometimes that takes a lot of time. We’re incorporating more things to utilize Ace’s strengths.”

Fantasy Impact:

The Jags consider him a mismatch and are trying to find ways to get him the ball in man coverage. They lined Sanders up in the backfield several times, putting a strain on Cleveland's defense. He caught multiple passes out of the backfield as well. As the story points out, Sanders accounted for six of the team’s 22 first downs. He was at his best on third down, helping the Jaguars convert three times. The Jaguars were 7-of-16 on third down. He has some limited value here, but could be a help in deeper leagues as the team is looking to get him the ball. Mike Brown's value takes a bit of a hit as a result.
