Phil Dawson, who set a 49ers record with 27 straight field goals in 2013, is returning to the team this season. Dawson, 39, broke the news himself on Twitter: "Very excited & grateful for the opportunity to return to my team & be a part of chasing the quest for six! Go niners! #itsgood."
