Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor could be out multiple games with the MCL sprain he sustained during Sunday’s game against the Titans.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported the news Tuesday, adding that Buffalo will prepare backup E.J. Manuel to start against Cincinnati in Week 6.
Taylor reportedly suffered the injury on a horse-collar tackle against Tennessee. Bills coach Rex Ryan said Monday that Taylor was “beat up,” but did not indicate he would miss any time.
Manuel showed this summer that he has taken strides towards consistency as an NFL passer but would be a risky fantasy start against the Bengals. The Bills running game is still a big question heading into Week 6 as Karlos Williams tries to come back from a concussion.
