The Chargers are activating RB J.K. Dobbins from IR and he’ll make his return Saturday against the Patriots.

One of the NFL’s most efficient backs, Dobbins is averaging 4.8 yards per carry this season. A big boost for L.A.’s stretch run.

Fantasy Impact:

With Gus Edwards already ruled out of this game, we would expect Dobbins to return to a pretty sizable workload. Consider him a low-end RB2 against the Patriots.

Week 17 at New England Patriots

Kimani Vidal is either going to be a great play or not in consideration depending on the health of J.K. Dobbins, who is currently questionable. If Dobbins is in, he's a desperation flex play, and you'll have to hope he is on a snap count. If Dobbins is out, he's likely a high-end RB3 on the week with upside in his role thanks to limited competition for touches. As it stands, you have to wait and see the status of Dobbins.
