Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins Out Week 13, to "miss some time"

Chargers standout RB JK Dobbins suffered a knee sprain in Monday’s game that will cause him to miss some time, sources say.

He’s out this week against the Falcons and up in the air after that. Gus Edwards is his backup.

Fantasy Impact:

Vidal was a healthy scratch in Week 12, so signs are pointing up for Edwards' usage this coming week. He should be considered a high-end RB3 while Vidal can't be trusted after spending Monday Night on the sidelines.

Week 16 vs Denver Broncos

After not seeing a ton of work in the initial weeks after J.K. Dobbins' injury, Kimani Vidal saw 3 carries and 3 targets in Week 15. While it's not a ton of work, it shows he'll see more work when the Chargers are behind. Denver is a solid spot for Chargers running backs as they are 23rd aFPA against the position, but as you can see by his RB47 ranking this week you can certainly do better than throw Vidal in the flex.
