DET TE Sam LaPorta - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Denver Broncos

While it was always going to be tough to match his Week 13 output, it was still disappointing to see such a quiet day for Sam LaPorta in Week 14, but the Lions struggled all day on offense against the Bears. With the Lions looking to get back on track at home against the Broncos Saturday, LaPorta should be back in the mix which should still make him a worthy start for Week 15 and the fantasy playoffs. He's still getting targets -- at least five in all but one game this season.

DET TE Sam LaPorta - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Chicago Bears

Have yourself a day, Sam LaPorta. 140 yards and a touchdown in Detroit's win over the Saints last week, his second straight game with a touchdown and 6th on the year. LaPorta has an outside shot at reaching 1,000 yards. LaPorta is on a roll. No reason to shy away from him now.

DET TE Sam LaPorta - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at New Orleans Saints

Sam LaPorta saw a healthy eighth targets last week against the Packers. He caught five of them for 47 yards and a touchdown, his best performance since the Week 9 bye. He may get another touchdown this week. New Orleans has allowed six touchdowns to tight ends this season, tied for the most in the league. And with the volume he should see, LaPorta has some good upside this week, making him a very solid starter.

DET TE Sam LaPorta - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Green Bay Packers

Perhaps Sam LaPorta was due for a poor fantasy performance as a rookie. Jared Goff struggled early which led to LaPorta's quiet day of 18 yards on three catches. The good news is he did just fine in Week 4 against the Packers, catching four passes for 56 yards on five targets. LaPorta remains one of the better tight end options for fantasy, even on a short week.

DET TE Sam LaPorta - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Chicago Bears

It was a "disappointing" fantasy performance for Sam LaPorta last week against the Chargers. Four catches for 40 yards for the rookie. It was only the fourth time this season LaPorta didn't reach 50 yards. This week should provide a good chance to bounce back as LaPorta faces one of the weaker defenses in the league in Chicago.

DET TE Sam LaPorta - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Los Angeles Chargers

Eight catches and a touchdown two weeks ago against the Raiders for Sam LaPorta. He hasn’t hit the rookie wall yet and maybe won’t at all. He’s an excellent starting option pretty much regardless of opponent this week. Continue rolling with him against the Chargers.

DET TE Sam LaPorta - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Sam LaPorta has been a nice, reliable tight end, especially for a rookie. In a position that can sometimes get very tricky, LaPorta has become a steady option thanks to his early connection with quarterback Jared Goff. He’s almost a lock for around 7-8 targets per game. The Raiders are an okay matchup but the talent of LaPorta and his volume make him a weekly play at this point.
