Scouting report

GB RB Josh Jacobs - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 @ Chicago Bears
Even with the offense falling off a bit with Malik Willis at the helm earlier in the year, Josh Jacobs has hit at least 15 opportunities in all nine Packers game, giving him a fantastic floor, paired with a great ceiling in softer matchups. This could very well be one of those "softer" matchups against a Bears defense that ranks 23rd in aFPA. Consider Jacobs a high-end RB2 in Week 11.

GB RB Josh Jacobs - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Detroit Lions
Josh Jacobs continues to be the grinder in this offense, keeping the defense honest by employing the ground game to open things up through the air. His floor/ceiling combination is one of the most steady in the league, and he has RB1 potential any time he finds the end zone. The Lions rush defense should make things a little harder this week, but if he's getting 15-20+ opportunities, he's still an easy click as an RB2.

GB RB Josh Jacobs - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Josh Jacobs continues to be the grinder in this offense, keeping the defense honest by employing the ground game to open things up through the air. His floor/ceiling combination is one of the most steady in the league, and he has RB1 potential any time he finds the end zone. The Jaguars defense isn't likely to put up much resistance, so roll him out anywhere you can.

GB RB Josh Jacobs - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Houston Texans
Josh Jacobs' role back in Week 4, in a pass-heavy script was a little muted, but he did come away with six targets and scored a respectable 9.8 half-PPR points. He has returned to his voluminous role in the following two weeks, earning 41 opportunities and turning them into 195 total yards and a touchdown. The Texans have a much better run defense than the previous two opponents but it's not going to matter much if he's getting that type of workload. Mark him down as a solid RB2 option in Week 7.

GB RB Josh Jacobs - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Arizona Cardinals
Josh Jacobs' role last week in a pass-heavy Week 4 script was a little muted, but he did come away with six targets on scored a respectable 9.8 half-PPR points. He returned to his voluminous role in Week 5, earning 20 opportunities and turning them into 104 total yards and a touchdown. The Cardinals have a much better run defense than the Rams but it's not going to matter much if he's getting that type of workload. Mark him down as a solid fringe RB1/2 option in Week 6.

GB RB Josh Jacobs - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 @ Los Angeles Rams
Josh Jacobs' role last week in a pass-heavy script was a little muted, but he did come away with six targets on scored a respectable 9.8 half-PPR points. There's a better chance that Jacobs regains more of a role against a Rams team that doesn't figure to put up a ton of fight. He has a great floor in any matchup, but this should be a little closer to an RB1 performance than a low-end RB2 performance we've seen the last couple of weeks.

GB RB Josh Jacobs - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Minnesota Vikings
Josh Jacobs had a more than acceptable showing in his debut with the Green Bay Packers, accruing 11.4 half-PPR fantasy points on 104 total yards. He followed that with a monster Week 2 performance, but we can sort of throw that out the window as the team gave him 32 rush attempts with Malik Willis at the helm. Things should look a little closer to Week 1's output with Jordan Love set to return in Week 4, which makes him a decent RB2 in a tough matchup.
