Fantasy Football Week 10 Recap: 11 Things You Need To Know
Week 10 served us a share of surprises. The return of Christian McCaffrey was a key storyline and he looked a lot like his old self, touching the ball 19 times and gaining 107 total yards. George Pickens made a fabulous diving 16-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter of Pittsburgh’s victory over the Commanders. Kansas City blocked a potential game-winning field goal to preserve their undefeated record. It was the ninth straight game that the Chiefs have trailed in the second half. Dallas turned the ball over five times as they were handily defeated by the Eagles. The Lions capped off a Sunday night comeback with a walkout 52-yard field goal. Time to get to the day’s biggest happenings.
Top Players
Chuba Hubbard started the morning off right giving the fans in Munich a treat in the finale of the NFL International 2024 slate. After signing a contract extension earlier this week, he sought to prove his worth by rushing for 153 yards on 28 carries including a one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. He hauled in four receptions to add 16 more yards to his total.
Jonathon Taylor had a big day carrying the ball. He was able to do everything except reach the end zone. Taylor rushed for 114 yards on 24 carries and caught two passes for eight yards. This was the fourth time this season that Taylor has topped the century mark in rushing.
Bijan Robinson had his highest rushing output of the season on Sunday. He rumbled for 116 yards on the ground, taking it to the end zone twice. Robinson added 28 yards on three receptions to lead all running backs in PPR scoring.
There has NEVER been a single moment that I have ever seen that says Bijan Robinson should ever leave the field on any play ever. Yet, two different coaching staffs have been OBSESSED with taking him out of the game in key situations for the #Falcons. Bizarre

Jalen Hurts enjoyed a massive afternoon against the Cowboys. Hurts threw for 202 yards and a pair of scores while collecting 56 yards and another two touchdowns on the ground. It was the sixth consecutive game in which Hurts has scored multiple touchdowns. The Eagles got out to such a big lead that Hurts finished the game watching Kenny Pickett play in mop-up duty.
Pop Players
Marquez Valdes-Scantling capitalized on an opportunity with Chris Olive and Cedrick Wilson sidelined. The newly-acquired veteran receiver showcased his speed in a Saints’ victory in New Orleans. MVS powered the offense hauling in three passes for 109 yards and a pair of receiving scores.
MVS having great chemistry with Derek Carr and not Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen is very MVS

Will Levis made his first appearance following a three-game absence due to a shoulder injury. By the game’s end, he had his best fantasy performance of the year. Levis threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns. He relied on his dual-threat ability to tack on 41 rushing yards to round out the day.
Flop Players
Jordan Mason was a non-factor in the wake of McCaffrey’s return to the lineup. Fantasy managers saw Mason’s value evaporate before their eyes. He carried the ball a single time for five yards as McCaffrey dominated the running back snaps.
CeeDee Lamb struggled against the Philadelphia Eagles. Clearly the target of Philadelphia’s defensive gameplay and playing without Dan Prescott, Lamb had his least productive game of the season. He made six catches for 21 yards. It was an afternoon Dallas would prefer to forget.
Brian Thomas Jr. had a second straight quiet week. Playing with backup quarterback, Mac Jones, under center, Thomas posted two catches for 12 yards. Trevor Lawrence was inactive with an AC sprain and could miss extended time.
Drop? Players
Dalton Kincaid injured his knee during Buffalo’s victory in Indianapolis. He spent some time in the blue medical tent before returning to the sideline. He did not return to the game. This injury will require further monitoring.
Sam LaPorta exited the Lions’ with a shoulder injury. He was having a strong game prior to the injury. LaPorta caught three passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. Initially ruled questionable to return, Laporta did not come back into the game.
After posting duds most of the first half of the season, Sam LaPorta is going off against the defense that, entering tonight, had allowed the fewest receptions, yards, fantasy points, 0 TDs and the lowest YPR, YPT and Catch% to tight ends.
Naturally.
