Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Dorsett should continue to play through the hamstring injury. He's startable against the Browns.

Patriots trading for WR Mohamed Sanu

The Patriots are trading the Falcons for wide receiver Mohamed Sanu in exchange for a second-round draft pick, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday morning.

Fantasy Impact:

The Pats have been trying to get Sanu for a while according to various stories. He's a real solid addition to the receiving group, and if anything, it puts a dent in the fantasy value of Dorsett, Meyers and Harry going forward. Sanu had 50 catches and 650 yards receiving each of the last three seasons with 33 catches and 313 yards this season. It's another nice target for Tom Brady.

For the Falcons, it could mean a bump in snaps and production for Ridley who was playing on about 71% this year, while also opening the door for more time for guys like Hardy and Gage who look to be next up on the Falcons depth chart.

Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) took limited practice reps Thursday. Dorsett is a Sneaky Start, assuming Josh Gordon is out, and it looks like he will be. In his three non-injury/non-Antonio Brown games, Dorsett posted 4-95-2, 6-53-1 and 2-10, so he was already a larger-than-expected cog in the Patriots' passing attack.

Fantasy Impact:

Harry can't play until Week 9, and with Gordon not on the field it could be Meyers and Dorsett have bigger roles behind Edelman leading up to Week 7 against the Jets. Recently re-signed Watson could be an option this week with LaCosse likely mising a few games.

Fantasy Impact:

With Phillip Dorsett out against the Giants Thursday night, Jakobi Meyers will likely see the biggest uptick in snaps, but the Patriots have cut back on their three wide receiver sets with FB James Develin out. Meyers looked great in preseason and could still have some fantasy value, but his snaps will likely be limited.

The Patriots have a short turnaround before playing the Giants on Thursday night and it looks like that will make it difficult for wide receiver Phillip Dorsett to be in the lineup.

Dorsett injured his hamstring during Sunday’s 33-7 win over Washington.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the injury is considered “minor,” but adds that Dorsett’s recovery timeline is week-to-week and that suggests Thursday will be too soon for Dorsett to get cleared. Meyers is looking like a potential add heading into Week 6.
