Meanwhile most other reports say Stafford is going to continue to miss time. Driskel certainly has potential as a fill-in for Stafford, this past week throwing for two scores and adding a rushing element to his game with running TD as well.

Fantasy Impact:

The NFL is going to look into the Stafford injury as he was listed as questionable most of the week until reports surfaced he was going to miss multiple weeks. Fantasy owners likely want answers too. Driskel looks like he'll get the start again in Week 11 against the Cowboys.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is out for the season.

The Bengals announced Monday that Dalton, who suffered a right thumb injury during Sunday's embarrassing loss to Cleveland, was placed on the injured reserve.

Fantasy Impact:

Driskel closed out the game against Cleveland throwing for 155 yards and a TD as the Bengals tried to come from behind against the Browns. Dalton wasn't great this year, but his loss seems like a downgrade for the rest of the offense. Sitting at 5-6, but still in the hunt, one has to wonder if the team brings back Green with Dalton out, or if they still try to make a playoff push.

The initial report on Andy Dalton is positive news for the Bengals.

X-rays were negative, and Dalton’s right thumb is only a sprain, a team source told PFT.

As the story went on to say, it remains to be seen how the injury affects Dalton’s status for practice and next week’s game. If Dalton can't go, Driskel - who threw for 155 yards and a TD - likely gets the start.
