Undrafted rookie Zonovan Knight made his debut against the Bears, and whether Michael Carter (low ankle sprain) plays against the Vikings or not, he’s earned a role in the offense going forward — even ahead of James Robinson.
Knight was the first player in Jets history to total more than 100 scrimmage yards (69 rushing, 34 receiving) in his debut. He forced nine missed tackles, per PFF, and according to the story. The story said Saleh feels the run game had left some meat on the bone, and it appears Knight could be a possible solution, at least for the rest of the season. If Carter isn't able to play this week, Knight could be in store for a big role. Another thing to note here is Robinson seems to be falling down the depth chart.
