Tomlin said three players -- JuJu Smith-Schuster, rookie WR Diontae Johnson and OLB Ola Adeniyi -- are in concussion protocol.

Tomlin confirmed JuJu also has a knee injury but did not say he if could play or not vs. Bengals. Obviously, Smith-Schuster will need to clear protocol this week before being activated. With Johnson also in protocol, the Steelers are potentially looking at Washington and Holton as their two starting WRs in Week 12.

Washington had a 3-52-0 line last week. It was a high for both yards and catches before getting hurt. Johnson will see a boost if Washington can't go and has already been a popular pickup. Holton possibly sees more time as well as a third option but there are a lot of questions in the offense due to the QB situation.

Washington caught three of his six targets for 52 yards. If Washington misses time, recent popular pickup, Johnson, could benefit the most, although the Steelers may be without QB Mason Rudolph after a concussion. Holton would move up the depth chart as well.

Plenty of eyes were on Smith-Schuster, Moncrief, James Washington and Diontae Johnson, but the guy who could contribute significantly is Switzer from the slot. It’s between Switzer and Eli Rogers for the spot and I can tell you this: Switzer made a lot of plays during the spring, and it doesn’t hurt if the franchise quarterback has taken a liking to you.

Ryan Switzer was third in targets among Steelers' WRs with 44 last season, which he grabbed 36 of them for 253 yards and a touchdown. For now, drafters are staying away from both he and Eli Rogers in the slot, but if Switzer continues to shine he could be a secret weapon in best-ball leagues or creep his way into late-round flier territory.
