Kyle Shanahan is hopeful that Ricky Pearsall will be ready for Week 1 for 49ers.

Fantasy Impact:

With no movement yet —or possibly at all— on the Aiyuk front, it seems unlikely that the rookie will make much of a fantasy impact unless someone in the offense misses time. He's an interesting (very) late-round dart throw, but nothing more for now.

Browns plan to sign free agent running back Royce Freeman to the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman did pretty well when he saw action with the Rams toward the end of last season. He was with Dallas this summer where he drew some hype, and for about a week the team had us convinced he may see significant action for the Cowboys. However, he was eventually released.

Packers are placing rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Lloyd dealt with a hamstring injury leading up to the season and has now injured his ankle enough to be placed on IR, and he'll miss the next four games. The team did sign Brooks from their practice squad but Wilson looks to be the backup to Jacobs.
