Jaguars Beat: TE Josh Oliver should see increased role

Josh Oliver played 30 snaps, second at TE behind Seth DeValve's 45. That number should continue to increase.

Fantasy Impact:

Oliver was only targeted two times and had one catch for six yards while DeValve saw one target and one catch for 11 yards. Oliver is probably still trying to catch up after missing six weeks so he not necessarily safe for lineups just yet. Maybe in deeper leagues he's worth a stash.

Jaguars TE Josh Oliver (hamstring) took full practice reps again Friday. He is expected to make his debut this week with Geoff Swaim out. He could become a streaming option but we aren't expecting much in his NFL debut.

Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy suffered a torn ACL and his season is over, sources say.

Fantasy Impact:

O'Shaughnessy had the MRI this morning and will have surgery when the swelling goes down, the tweet went on to say. It was a clean tear. Swaim likely takes over in the short term but Oliver is a rookie who was taken in the third round who could get a chance to emerge as the season goes in.
