Confidence is everything for a professional athlete, and it certainly sounds like Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams is suffering in that department after a string of forgettable games.

Despite receiving 35 targets over the last three games, Adams has produced just 129 yards and zero touchdowns for the struggling Packers passing offense. He hit rock bottom against the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving night, as he dropped a would-be touchdown, caused an interception with an unfinished route and failed to grab Aaron Rodgers’ last ditch effort on the game’s final fourth down.

Fantasy Impact:

Now the team is trying to build him back up, the story said. Adams entered 2015 with sky-high expectations. He exploded for a handful of huge games as a rookie, including a 121-yard breakout against the New England Patriots and a 117-yard effort during Green Bay’s Divisional Round win over the Dallas Cowboys. The 2014 second-round pick looked like another one of general manager Ted Thompson’s receiving gems, especially after he blew up the offseason program and then assumed a bigger role when star Jordy Nelson went down, the story said.

Fantasy Impact:

For the Panthers, if Corey Brown is out, then Devin Funchess figures to be a Sneaky Start once again. With Zach Ertz and Ryan Mathews out, Brent Celek and Darren Sproles both get a bump. Celek is a top 10 play this week in a nice matchup with the Lions. Calvin Johnson is questionable but is expected to play. With Martellus Bennett sidelined, Zachary Miller is also a Sneaky Start at the tight end position. He has been very involved the last few weeks and the Packers just gave up a boatload of fantasy points to Kyle Rudolph last week. Alshon Jeffery and Matt Forte are both expected to play, but the Bears have been very devious when it comes to handing out injury information. Don't be shocked if either is inactive on Thursday evening. If they both return, it will obviously put a dent in the upside of Marquess Wilson and Jeremy Langford, respectively.

Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan expects quarterback Tyrod Taylor to be able to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs despite a right shoulder injury that Taylor suffered late in Monday night's loss to the New England Patriots.

"We all know it’s a right shoulder thing," Ryan told WGR 550 in Buffalo on Tuesday afternoon. "I don’t know the particulars of what they call things or whatever. If we had the technical terms on it, you guys wouldn’t know it either. We’ll see how the week progresses how everything goes, but I think he’ll be ready to roll."

Fantasy Impact:

Ryan was ready to replace Taylor with backup E.J. Manuel on Monday, but Taylor told the Bills' coach that he was healthy enough to remain in the game.

Aaron Rodgers’ stay on the Green Bay Packers’ injury report lasted only one week.

The Packers quarterback was not listed on Monday, when the team released its first report in advance of Thursday’s Thanksgiving night game against the Chicago Bears. Although neither team practiced on Monday, the NFL required an injury report with estimations on practice participation.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodgers was listed on the injury report last week because of an issue with his throwing shoulder. He was limited in practice on Wednesday but was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday.
