Titans' clock ticks on Henry's career

Titans RB Chris Henry landed with the Titans because of his blazing speed, but his world came to a screeching halt last season. Henry watched 16 of the 17 games from the sideline in street clothes.
"Time is kind of relative to what is actually going on. Not playing the entire season last year, it went by slow for me,'' Henry said. "If you are in games and playing, it flies by. … My goal this year is to make the season go by a lot faster.''

There's one thing Henry doesn't want to consider, though it's something that can't be ignored: He might not make it to the season.

Henry was a 2nd-round pick in 2007, but his future with the Titans is in question. There are a half-dozen RBs competing for roster spots and the Titans can't keep them all, especially those who've underperformed like Henry has to this point.

The Titans simply can't wait forever on his potential, not with a set of hungry backs behind the proven duo of Chris Johnson and Lendale White.
