Eagles WR Golden Tate only sees 18 snaps

Eagles WR Golden Tate played just 18 snaps on offense and fielded two punts on special teams in the 27-20 loss. He finished the night with just two catches for 19 yards in a losing effort.

Tate knew his workload would be measured entering the weekend. The Eagles wanted to ease Tate into the offense with a set of designed plays.

"We had a certain number of plays for him and wanted to get him into the game and just get him some touches," Eagles coach Doug Pederson said during his post-game press conference.

Fantasy Impact: 

It was pretty much a must-win game for the Eagles so the use was at least a bit curious, but we knew he was a risky play because of playing time. The story said Tate was limited by his understanding of the playbook.
