During the offseason and through the first week of training camp, New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton couldn't remember many times when he didn't see running back Lynell Hamilton hanging around the team's Metairie training facility.

Whether it was in the weight room, pushing metal plates off his chiseled chest, or in the film room, dissecting the nuances of Payton's multi-faceted offense, Hamilton has been a mainstay around camp.

When the time comes for the Saints to kick off their regular season Sept. 9 as the reigning Super Bowl champions, Hamilton hopes to be a regular in the team's backfield as well.
