Rankings Changelog (2021)
(10/22): Removed Antonio Brown from the rankings since he was ruled out for Week 7. Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, O.J. Howard and Tyler Johnson get a bump.
(10/20): Removed Baker Mayfield from the rankings since he was ruled out. Added DeVante Parker since he got in a limited practice on Wednesday.
(10/15): Removed Nick Chubb from the rankings. Kareem Hunt is questionable but will be a top five play if he can go. D'Ernest Johnson might serve as the change-of-pace back.
(10/14): Removed Damien Williams since he was placed on the COVID-19 list. Khalil Herbert should see a big workload against the Packers.
(10/12): Added Tua Tagovailoa to the rankings since it looks like he's going to return to action in Week 6.
(9/29): Added Darrell Henderson, Dalvin Cook and Elijah Mitchell to the rankings since they returned to practice on Wednesday.
(9/24): Removed Elijah Mitchell (doubtful) from the rankings and added Trey Sermon. Sermon and Jacques Patrick figure to split the workload unless another RB is called up from the practice squad.
(9/24): Removed Diontae Johnson (out) and Tee Higgins (doubtful) from the W3 rankings. James Washington gets the biggest bump in Pittsburgh.
(9/24): Added Odell Beckham to the rankings. He has no injury designation, so it appears that he's close to full health.
(9/7) Season-Long: Removed Latavius Murray from the rankings since he was cut by the Saints. Dwayne Washington got most of his usage, though Tony Jones is the clear RB2 in New Orleans.
(9/7) Week 1: Updated all positions and published to the site.
(9/1) Removed Irv Smith, Jr. from the rankings since he's going to miss most of the year after meniscus surgery. When Kyle Rudolph missed the final four games of last season, Tyler Conklin posted receiving lines of 5-40 (5), 3-57-1 (4), 4-31 (6) and 3-40 (6). He was the No. 15 TE in that span. The Vikings did trade for Chris Herndon, but it will probably take him a while to get up to speed.
(8/30) Nick Chubb ran the 11th-most routes among running backs from W12-W16 last year, and gained the 6th-most receiving yards in that span. I bumped up his receptions a bit. He's one of the safest picks in the first couple of rounds given his talent and the Browns' offensive line. He has overall RB1 upside if anything were to happen to Kareem Hunt and/or he starts to see regular usage as a receiver.
(8/30) Adjusted Bengals' team rushing yards downward due to O-line struggles. Joe Mixon drops a few spots, but his high-volume still makes him a high-end RB2.
(8/29) Moved Irv Smith down since he's going to miss the start of the season after meniscus surgery. Right now, I'm projecting him to miss the first two games. He's likely to go very late in drafts now, but is still a good upside TE2.
(8/29) Moved Gus Edwards and Ty'Son Williams up after news broke that J.K. Dobbins is going to miss the season with a torn ACL. Edwards becomes a midrange RB2 as the lead back in a very productive committee.
(8/27) Moved Jameis Winston up several spots after he was named the starter. I still expect Taysom Hill to have a role, especially in the red zone, so don't expect Winston to post QB1-type numbers unless a healthy Michael Thomas returns. Marquez Callaway gets a bump as well. He's the likely WR1 to start the season, but don't forget about Tre'Quan Smith.
(8/26) Moved Curtis Samuel down a few spots due to the lingering groin injury that has kept him out of practice. I'm still bullish on him as a player and for this season, but he might get off to a slow start after missing so many reps.
(8/25) Moved Darrell Henderson down and Sony Michel up after Michel was traded to the Rams. I still believe that Henderson will lead this backfield, but it's not a slam dunk like it was prior to the trade. Damien Harris, Rhamondre Stevenson and J.J. Taylor also get a bump for the Patriots. Harris moves up slightly, while Stevenson and Taylor saw their projected touches increase quite a bit.
