Fantasy Football Recap Week 10: 15 Things You Need To Know
Week 10 of the NFL season may have been my toughest test yet. The final early morning international game gave us another sleepy start, but the late slate was electrifying. Five games ended with game-winning field goals as time expired. Choosing which players to include in the recap and which to leave behind was a very challenging endeavor.
Top Players
T.J. Hockenson had himself a day. The Vikings’ tight end did significant damage to the Saints’ defense as Minnesota rolled in front of their home crowd. Hockenson ended the game with 11 catches for 134 yards and a touchdown. This was the most yards he has gained since October 2022.
Noah Brown is for real. He caught seven passes for 172 yards on Sunday. The Texans went to Cincinnati and defeated the Bengals behind another big passing performance from C.J. Stroud.
Trey McBride played a wonderful game for Arizona against Atlanta. He caught eight passes from Kyler Murray and compiled 131 receiving yards. It was the first game of his career in which he reached the century mark.
McBride has been killing the #Falcons all day.

Dak Prescott is on a bonafide roll. For the third time in three weeks, he threw for multiple touchdowns. This time, against the Giants, he tossed four touchdown passes and added a fifth score on the ground. Prescott threw for 404 yards. It was his first 400+ yard performance since Week 6 of 2021.
Keenan Allen put his skills on display in a wild back-and-forth game against the Lions. The veteran wide receiver pulled in 11 passes for 175 yards. He also visited the end zone twice as the Chargers came up just short against Detroit.
CeeDee Lamb was a big part of Dak Prescott’s huge day. Lamb was on the receiving end of 11 Prescott throws. He turned those grabs into 151 yards and a score. It was his fourth consecutive 100+ yard performance.
CeeDee Lamb is officially the first WR in NFL history to have 3 straight games of 10 catches for 150 yards.

Justin Herbert did his best to put the team on his back Sunday. Hosting the Lions, the Oregon product threw for 323 yards and four passing touchdowns. It was the first time he had thrown four scores in a game since 2021.
Flop Players
DeAndre Hopkins struggled against Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers had given up the most fantasy points to wide receivers in the NFL over the previous two weeks. Still, they had an answer for Hopkins who caught three passes and totaled 27 yards in defeat.
The San Francisco 49ers erased Evan Engram. Despite being a top option at tight end throughout the season, Engram was held to just 12 yards on four catches. Jacksonville will want to forget this game and regroup for Tennessee next week.
Tony Pollard had another quiet day for the Cowboys. On an afternoon where the team scored 49 points, Pollard compiled 55 rushing yards on 15 carries. He still has not seen the end zone since Week 1.
Pop Players
Devin Singletary looked outstanding starting in the place of Dameon Pierce. Rushing for 150 yards, Singletary set a career-high in rushing yards. He also caught a pass for an additional 11 yards and scored his first touchdown of the season. Singletary is still available in a number of leagues and may continue to hold value until Pierce returns.
Devin Singletary’s 150 rushing yards were the most by a Houston Texan since Carlos Hyde in 2019. 👀👀🔥🔥

Brandin Cooks exploded for the Cowboys against New York. In his biggest game since arriving in Dallas, Cooks gained 173 yards on nine receptions. He caught one of Prescott’s four touchdown passes and led the team in receiving yards. Cooks will be a priority waiver wire player this week.
Drop Players?
Derek Carr left the Saints’ loss at Minnesota in the third quarter. He was diagnosed with both a concussion and a shoulder injury. His status for Week 12, following the team’s bye, is uncertain.
Taylor Heinicke injured his hamstring in the fourth quarter of the Falcons’ defeat at Arizona. He had been largely ineffective prior to the injury. Desmond Ridder entered in relief and scored a rushing touchdown to put the Falcons in front before the Cardinals kicked a game-winning field goal.
Michael Thomas left the Saints’ game in the first half after sustaining a knee injury. He did not return to the game. With a bye upcoming in Week 11, Thomas will have extra time to recover, as long as the injury proves not to be serious.
