Lions TE Sam LaPorta was carted to the locker room late in the first half against the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

The injury happened as LaPorta was blocking downfield on Jahmyr Gibbs’ touchdown. The Lions have had multiple injuries so far today but this is easily the most fantasy-significant for the Lions and across the league. LaPorta had been considered the top fantasy tight end. Hopefully it’s not a serious injury but we will certainly wait for more details. He had two catches for 36 yards before leaving.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) is officially off the injury report and will make his season debut Monday against the Commanders.

Fantasy Impact:

Higgins missed the first two games but is now a go for Week 3, giving QB Joe Burrow one of his top weapons back. Higgins gets a favorable matchup Sunday as Washington has struggled to stop the pass. There's WR2 upside here with Higgins. He's certainly worth a spot in your starting lineup this week in what should be a good day for the Bengals' passing offense.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert will test his ankle before Sunday's game against the Steelers and there is optimism he will be able to go.

Fantasy Impact:

Herbert is listed as questionable after suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 2 against the Panthers. He did practice Friday but his ankle was heavily taped. This would be quite a quick recovery for Herbert. It's probably best to err on the side of caution with Herbert and lean towards him not playing. He's currently our QB28 because of the strong question mark on his playing status. Easton Stick would be in line to start if Herbert is out.

49ers TE George Kittle (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday vs. the Rams. WR Deebo Samuel (calf) is out as expected. DE Nick Bosa (rib) is questionable.
