Bears look to get WR Keenan Allen more involved

The targets had been there for Keenan Allen -- 20 in three games prior to Sunday. But he was looking for production.

"Obviously we want to get Keenan involved more. It's a goal of ours," Shane Waldron said last week. "It's that fine line of pressing to get him involved but also knowing that he's going to do a good job like he always does of doing things right, showing up every single day and working to get on the same page, which he's done a great job with and then leading to the results on the field."

Fantasy Impact:

It's the kind of news his owners were hoping for, many of which probably missed out on his performance this past week based on his lack of fantasy production up to this point. As the story said, through six weeks, Allen has 15 catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns. The author said Allen's production to this point is slower than what he's used to, but, "Sunday's game felt like something he can build on as Chicago's offense aims for another strong outing coming out of its Week 7 bye." We'll see if the Bears can make some adjustments coming out of the bye and continue to keep a healthier Allen more involved.
