Free Agent QB Smith dismissed the notion that there was bad blood between him and his top wide receiver, Michael Crabtree.

"I think that's something that has been totally off-base in what people are reading," he said. "That's not how it is. He and I have always gotten along from Day One"

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
