The Indianapolis Colts appear to be regaining its health as the preseason is about to close.
The only players not practicing Monday were wide receivers Anthony Gonzalez (hamstring), Austin Collie (foot) and Blair White (back), offensive lineman Ryan Diem (elbow) and safety Antoine Bethea (hamstring). White remains on the physically unable to perform list.
Mathis, who left in the first quarter of Friday night's preseason loss to Green Bay with a hamstring injury, was back at practice. So was linebacker Gary Brackett, who missed the Packers game with an injury to his right elbow.
"It was just sore . . . precautionary," Brackett said. "We didn't want to go out there and get it re-banged up and start the season (that way). Just being smart. I'll be ready to go Week 1."
NOTICE: wide receivers Anthony Gonzalez (hamstring), Austin Collie (foot) are STILL not practicing.
