It looks like New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs will miss this week's game against the Buffalo Bills because of a knee issue that also caused him to miss last week’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Opponents seem to be clued into Ahmad Bradshaw’s habit of cutting back and are putting a player in the cutback lane, waiting for Bradshaw to fill the lane. Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride will likely attempt to run the ball out of different formations to jump-start the attack. One option is to run more from spread formations and give Bradshaw the ball on inside handoffs and quick pitches.
